3/16/2022 Face Masks Still Required at ALL PIWH Facilities.

Updated CDC guidance to face masks does not change precautions at health care facilities or hospitals. CDC states such facilities should continue to follow the CDC's infection prevention and control recommendations which includes the use of face masks by patients, visitors and health care personnel. Masks fully covering your nose and mouth are to be worn the entire time you are in any of our facilities including the exam rooms. The well-being of our patients, employees and the community is our top priority.

Announcement Updates:

**ONE Adult Support person (18 yrs or older) will be permitted at PIWH appointments. At this time, no children should be brought to appointments.**

Our waiting areas are set up for social distancing and all areas are sanitized by our Staff daily.

POST PARTUM PATIENTS: We encourage you to arrive to your post-partum appointments alone but understand that you may need to bring your newborn. Patients may bring their newborns to the 6 week post-partum appointment only. No other children will be permitted at these appointments and infants may not accompany patients to any other appointments after the 6-week postpartum visit.

OBSTETRIC PATIENTS: If you are having an ultrasound in our office with Penn State Health - please read this important document.

Partners in Women's Healthcare is also recommending the Covid-19 vaccination for obstetric patients. Obstetric patients who have been vaccinated are encouraged to register for the CDC Vaccine Tracker. This will provide data about the vaccines in pregnancy. Please click here.

For the safety of our patients and employees, if you are experiencing any symptoms such as a fever, dry cough, shortness of breath or fatigue, loss of taste or smell, etc., we ask that you please contact the office immediately to reschedule your appointment.

Routine yearly gynecology appointments can be scheduled through your Patient Portal or

by calling our Central Scheduling Department, Monday - Friday from 8AM-4PM at (717)737-4511 option 2 for scheduling.

Due to the heavy call volume- please be patient.

We also have a select number of initial video visit appointments available for obstetric patients.

Providers, Management & Staff

Our practice consists of seven physicians, three certified nurse midwives, and four certified nurse practitioners. We offer a broad range of obstetric and gynecological services. Our care encompasses all of the issues important to women in every stage of their life. Our services include routine and high risk obstetrics, teen/adolescent care, menopausal management issues, treatment of urinary incontinence, surgical correction of pelvic organ prolapse/pelvic floor relaxation, abnormal menstrual and post menopausal bleeding, and cosmetic gynecology. Of course, this just covers a sampling of some of the most common problems we encounter and treat. All of our physicians are trained and skilled in the most up-to-date minimally invasive surgical procedures: daVinci robotic assisted surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, advanced hysteroscopic surgery, and vaginal surgery. We also have “on site/on demand” ultrasound services available if needed for routine or emergent obstetrical or gynecological need in our Lemoyne, Harrisburg, and Carlisle offices.

All of our obstetrical services are provided at the Harrisburg Hospital of the Pinnacle Health System. The physicians perform surgery primarily at Harrisburg Hospital, the new West Shore Hospital, and the West Shore Surgical Center. Surgical services are also provided at Holy Spirit Hospital, Community General Osteopathic Hospital, and the Susquehanna Valley Surgical Center.
